Life is worth living.
Let’s experience it.
What does it actually mean to experience a life instead of just move through one?
That’s a question I’m still learning the answer to. I spent a lot of my life moving through it without really feeling like I was in it, so lately I’ve been paying a lot more attention to what it actually means to be here for a life.
What I’m discovering is that experiencing life has a lot to do with witnessing what’s actually here, within us, around us and where those worlds meet.
That’s what we explore here through art, stories, questions, curiosity and play, all in the hope of experiencing this beautiful, heartbreaking life a little more fully.
One Way I Explore Life: Art & Beauty
One thing I’m learning...
Beauty and art have a way of pulling me out of autopilot and back into what’s actually here.
I’ve always been the kind of person who stops for incredible light, sunsets, stars, mountains and anything else that makes me go, wait, LOOK at that. And it turns out, there’s even a scientific reason why moments like these can help us feel a little more at home in ourselves. That’s a rabbit hole I’ll definitely be sharing more about soon.
Hi, I’m Rashelle.
I’m an artist, photographer, former nurse and caregiver, chronic question-asker and the kind of person who will absolutely stop what I’m doing because LOOK AT THAT LIGHT.
I care deeply about mental health, understanding ourselves and all the weird, wonderful things that make being human so fascinating.
Around here, you’ll probably find art, stories, questions, things I’m learning and whatever else has me thinking, wait... that’s kind of fascinating.

Come Along For the Ride:
The Scenic Route
Taking the scenic route means choosing the slower way because sometimes the best part is what you find along the way.
That’s pretty much what this is too. Art, stories, random questions, things I’m learning, rabbit holes I probably went too far down and little discoveries that feel worth sharing as I go.
Come along and I’ll send a few your way every now and then. Plus, you’ll get 15% off your first art order as a little welcome gift.
